The Opticon OPN3002i gives your iPhone or Android device aggressive 2D scanning in a small design. The pocketable scanner is a great choice for small retail inventory management, patient-side data capture, or other mobile data collection applications.

A 2D imager, the OPN3002i offers quick reads of virtually any barcode you encounter. The OPN3002i can read standard retail barcodes from nearly 8 inches away, perfect for registry scanning or inventory counts. With a motion tolerance of up to 2 meters per second, the OPN3002i can read quickly passing barcodes.

The OPN3002i uses Bluetooth 2.1 to maintain connections to your iPhone, iPad, Android device, or any Bluetooth-equipped mobile device. Depending on your need, the scanner can send data via serial port profile (SPP), Apple's MFi virtual comm emulation, or HID mode. Pairing the scanner to your device is as simple as holding the function key on the OPN3002i. You have 33 feet of radio range, so you can set your mobile device down while scanning hard-to-reach barcodes and stay connected.

The lightweight 2D scanner has been built to survive general scanning use and accidents. It is rated at an IP42 seal, meaning dirt and water drips won't harm internal components. The OPN3002i withstands drops of 5 feet to concrete, and a lanyard is available in case you want to secure the scanner to yourself.
