The current ZT610 Micro Label option provides up to 50% more precise registration for labels as small as 3 mm. That precision helps reduce waste on costly small media used for circuit boards, chips, miniature components and similar identification tasks.

The Micro Label option supports a broader range of small media sizes and has been enhanced for integration with automated labeling systems. These benefits apply only to the specific 600 dpi ZT610 Micro Label configuration and should not be assumed for standard ZT610 or any ZT620 model.

The ZT610 prints up to 4.09 inches wide and reaches 14 inches per second at 203 dpi. Standard 203 and optional 300 dpi configurations cover common industrial labels, while the 600 dpi Micro Label option is exclusive to the ZT610. The closed printer measures 19.88 by 10.56 by 15.58 inches and weighs 50 pounds.

The ZT620 prints up to 6.6 inches wide at speeds up to 12 inches per second. It supports 203 or optional 300 dpi output for wide shipping, compliance, pallet and carton labels; the ZT610's 600 dpi Micro Label feature does not apply to the ZT620. Its closed dimensions are 19.88 by 13.44 by 15.58 inches and its weight is 57.4 pounds.

Media Characteristics

Both models accept rolls up to 8 inches in outside diameter on a 3-inch core and thermal transfer ribbon up to 450 meters long. The ZT610 handles media from 0.79 to 4.5 inches wide, the Micro Label model starts at 0.47 inch, and the ZT620 accepts 2.0- to 7.1-inch media and wider ribbon. Maximum continuous print length varies by model and resolution: up to 150 inches on a 203 dpi ZT610 and 80 inches on a ZT620.

Options and Accessories

Options include a full-width guillotine cutter with catch tray, an internal media rewind spindle and peel with liner rewind. The cutter is not compatible with rewind or peel options, so the finishing configuration must be selected around the actual label workflow.
