Close-contact 1D scanning in two reading-window sizes

The Datalogic TD1100 is a corded linear imager for close-contact barcode reading at service counters, specialty stores, libraries and document workflows. Choose the 65 mm window for standard codes or the 90 mm window for wider labels. Lite models provide either USB or RS-232/Keyboard Wedge connectivity; Pro models support USB, RS-232, Keyboard Wedge and Wand Emulation. Its compact design fits lower-throughput applications that need dependable 1D reading.

The reading distance depends on barcode size, print quality, lighting and scan angle. 65 versions measure 16.0 × 8.4 × 5.8 cm; 90 versions measure 17.0 × 10.4 × 6.7 cm. These are linear barcode readers, rather than general-purpose QR/Data Matrix imagers.

Select the interface and cable for the host connection. A separate power supply may be required for the selected serial cable and host configuration.

A window sized for the label

The two reading-window sizes let users match the reader to ordinary labels or wider codes on books, documents and bills. The contact-reading design handles standard linear barcodes, including damaged or poorly printed codes, while its 1.5 m drop resistance supports regular counter use.

Read-through holder for small items

A matching desk/wall holder gives the reader a hands-free position for documents and small items. USB kit models include a holder and cable; the other models let users select connection components for their host. Datalogic Aladdin supports configuration, and a good-read LED and adjustable-tone beeper confirm successful scans.
