The Zebra SP72 Series brings high-performance single-plane scanning to grocery, supermarket, convenience, pharmacy, and specialty retail. Available as the on-counter SP72-V or zero-footprint in-counter SP72-H, it combines compact installation with the speed and intuitive operation retailers expect from a multi-plane scanner.
A 2.3 megapixel imager and Zebra PRZM Intelligent Imaging capture 1D, 2D, Digimarc, paper, and mobile barcodes, including damaged, crinkled, and faded symbols. SP7201 configurations provide core high-performance scanning, while premium SP7208 configurations add selected integration and loss-prevention capabilities.

Capture More Than Barcodes
The 2.3 MP imager reads 1D, 2D, Digimarc and mobile barcodes, including GS1 Digital Link. An optional color camera supports Zebra Aurora Focus vision applications for loss prevention, product recognition and event capture without adding a separate camera.

Eye-friendly intelligent illumination activates when an item enters the scan zone. Custom tones, selectable label identifiers and multiple decode indicators make feedback clear in staffed and self-checkout environments. IP52 sealing, sapphire or DLC scan-window choices, a 32–122°F operating range and field-replaceable cable access help protect uptime.
Deploy and Manage With Zebra DNA
123Scan supports configuration and staged deployment. Scanner Management Solution enables remote management, IoT Connector exposes decode and health data, and Zebra DNA tools help configure, secure, manage and optimize the scanner fleet.
