Tap-and-go NFC wallet and contactless credential reading for counters with limited space.

The SocketScan S550 is a compact, battery-powered 13.56 MHz NFC reader/writer for mobile wallet passes, contactless cards, HF RFID tags and supported mobile IDs. Bluetooth LE links the reader to a compatible application on iOS, Android or Windows. Choose black or white SM Link bundles, with a security base when specified by the selected option.

The S550 is for NFC workflows. It does not scan barcodes or process credit and debit card payments.

Apple VAS certified reading supports eligible mobile passes and tap-and-go loyalty, ticketing and check-in workflows when your application is integrated.

Reader/writer flexibility

Read supported ISO 14443, ISO 15693 and NFC Forum media, or use compatible software for writing through PC/SC mode. Validate card type and application support before ordering.
