Corded and Bluetooth scanning for everyday checkout

The Datalogic QuickScan 2500 Series reads 1D and 2D barcodes from printed labels and smartphone screens. Choose a QD2590 corded megapixel scanner, a QW2520 USB-only VGA scanner, or a QBT2500 Bluetooth kit to match your checkout setup. Green Spot feedback confirms successful reads on the barcode, while Motionix automatically changes reading modes as the scanner is picked up or set down.

Reading distances depend on barcode size, print quality, scan angle and ambient light. Bluetooth range is up to 164 ft / 50 m in open air with the base; other hosts may differ.

Choose the right scan engine

QD2590 and QBT2500 models use a 1-megapixel sensor and two blue aiming triangles. QW2520 uses a VGA sensor and blue-dot aiming for everyday USB checkout. All three read common 1D and 2D barcodes; OCR and Digimarc support applies to QD2590 and QBT2500.

Connection and stand choices

QD2590 supports USB or RS-232 with the appropriate cable; QW2520 is USB only. The QBT2500 kit provides Bluetooth mobility and a charging base with USB / RS-232 host interfaces. Choose scanner-only, cable-only or stand-equipped packages by part number. A USB-C host connection requires the appropriate separately selected cable.
