Industrial 1D scanning with a green scanning line

The Datalogic PowerScan 9100 family combines a linear imager with a green scanning line for industrial 1D barcode reading. Choose the corded PD9130, Bluetooth 3.0 PBT9100 or 910 MHz STAR radio PM9100. PM models offer a basic scanner, a display with four keys or a display with sixteen keys, depending on the part number. These are 1D scanners; select a 2D family when QR or Data Matrix reading is required.

The maximum reading distance applies to large 40 mil Code 39 labels. Code size, print quality, lighting and scan angle affect range. Bluetooth Class 1 reaches up to 100 m in open air; STAR 910 MHz reaches up to 400 m only at 36.8 KB/s with frequency hopping.

Green illumination and clear read confirmation

A green scanning line makes the target visible while the linear imager reads 1D labels. Datalogic’s 3GL feedback combines a Green Spot on the code, dual good-read LEDs and a beeper, giving operators several ways to confirm a successful scan.

Cordless choices for industrial workflows

PBT9100 supports Bluetooth HID and SPP connections with up to seven scanners per base. PM9100 supports STAR multipoint operation with up to sixteen readers per receiver and two-way communication. Replaceable cordless batteries, IP65 sealing and repeated-drop resistance support daily warehouse and manufacturing work.
