Cordless traceability for codes marked directly on industrial parts

The Datalogic PowerScan PM9501-DPM EVO reads 1D and 2D barcodes, including codes etched, printed or dot-peened directly onto parts. Its close-range DPM engine supports manufacturing and assembly traceability, while the 910 MHz STAR Cordless System carries scans between the operator and a compatible base. Choose a scanner-only model with or without a 4-key display, or a complete USB kit without a display.

Two-way operator communication

The STAR system supports point-to-point or multipoint operation, with up to 16 readers per radio receiver and seamless roaming. The 4-key display model adds a backlit graphic screen for host-to-operator messages and configurable responses at the point of work.

Clear feedback and replaceable power

Datalogic 3GL combines a Green Spot on the code, two good-read LEDs and an adjustable audible signal. The removable 3350 mAh battery supports more than 60,000 continuous reads under typical 25°C conditions and recharges in about 4.5 hours using external power.

These paper-label tests do not establish DPM distances. Some listed test sizes are smaller than the same table’s stated maximum resolution; validate the application with sample codes.
