The Star Micronics NLS-FM431 is a compact fixed-mount scanner built for high-throughput self-service and logistics applications. Its 1280 x 800 CMOS imager reads common 1D, 2D and postal codes from printed labels and mobile screens, including damaged, low-contrast and poorly printed symbols.
A reading range up to 460 mm, 3.5 m/s motion tolerance and a dual green LED/red laser aimer help capture large, moving or hard-to-reach barcodes. USB and RS-232 interfaces support embedded kiosk, parcel-locker and terminal integration.

Capture large and difficult-to-reach barcodes in parcel lockers, warehouse stations, inventory kiosks and bulk retail applications without requiring close presentation.
Up to 3.5 m/s motion tolerance supports fast workflows, while green LED and red laser aiming help users target the intended barcode.
Advanced decoding supports common 1D, 2D and postal formats and is designed to read damaged, warped, faded, low-contrast and poorly printed symbols.
The 41.5 x 49.5 x 24.7 mm enclosure fits space-constrained kiosks and terminals. IP54 sealing and 1.5 m drop resistance add protection for demanding installations.
