Wireless scanning for warehouse and manufacturing labels

The Unitech MS851B combines a 1D laser scan engine with Bluetooth mobility for warehouse, logistics and manufacturing work. Its bidirectional engine captures up to 104 scans per second and reads a wide range of linear barcodes.

Bluetooth supports transmission up to 100 m in open line of sight. Auto mode buffers scans outside coverage and sends them when the connection returns; batch mode stores scans for later upload. Actual reading distance depends on the barcode size, quality and conditions.

The rechargeable, replaceable 2850 mAh battery provides more than 30 hours of operation at one scan every five seconds under the manufacturer’s test conditions. LED, beeper and vibration indicators help confirm successful reads.

Built for repeated daily use

IP42 sealing, 2.1 m drop resistance and a trigger rated for 10 million actuations support busy work areas. The cradle provides automatic Bluetooth pairing and switching between trigger and presentation modes.

Cradle functions

Automatic Bluetooth pairing and switching between trigger and presentation modes. Rev.C brochure specifies connection with up to three scanners and three-way cable-management slots.

Charging methods
