Everyday barcode scanning for checkout and inventory

The Unitech MS838 reads 1D and 2D barcodes from paper labels and phone screens for retail, pharmacy and inventory work. Its 640 × 480-pixel CMOS imager supports fine linear codes down to 3 mil and common 2D formats such as QR, Data Matrix and PDF417.

Current offers connect by USB and are available with or without a hands-free stand. Trigger mode suits handheld scanning, while presentation mode supports auto-sensing work at a fixed station. Actual read range varies with barcode size, contrast and quality.

Read labels and mobile codes

The 60 fps scan engine reads common product labels, digital coupons and membership codes. Red aiming and white illumination help position the scanner, while LED and audible feedback confirm the capture.

Built for routine handling

IP52 sealing and a 1.5 m concrete drop rating support everyday work. The ergonomic handheld body weighs 245 g, and its trigger is rated for one million actuations.
