Compact magnetic stripe reading with flexible USB output
The Unitech MS246 captures up to three tracks of magnetic stripe data for POS, loyalty, security and other card-based applications. Its compact housing fits into limited counter space, and cards can be swiped in either direction.
USB keyboard emulation or HID mode provides connection choices. The reader draws power from USB and can sit on a desk or mount to a flat surface.

Built for repeated card swipes
The magnetic head, rail and cover are rated for at least one million passes. A beeper and tri-color LED indicate read status, helping operators confirm each swipe.

The Windows configuration manager supports data parsing, control characters and prefixes or suffixes. Threaded inserts and a side-exit cable provide flexibility when mounting the reader at a workstation.
