Faster Checkout Performance
A megapixel sensor and PRZM Intelligent Imaging capture 1D, 2D, GS1 Digital Link and Digimarc symbols, including damaged, faded and poorly printed labels. Offset illumination improves phone-screen and glossy-package reads.
High swipe speeds and fields of view up to 100% larger than other scanners in its class reduce careful barcode positioning for staffed and self-checkout users.
Vision and Scale Options
An optional HD color camera supports produce recognition, loss prevention and visible self-checkout livestreaming. The L-shaped platter expands the weighing surface, while Zebra Weight Guard detects items not fully on the scale so underweight readings can be corrected.
Optional Checkpoint or Sensormatic EAS can combine price capture and tag deactivation; interlock can require a successful scan first.
Customer-Friendly Scanning
Recessed illumination dims at idle and remains unobtrusive in use. An optional customer-facing scanner handles coupons, loyalty cards and small items, while auxiliary ports accept a handheld scanner for bulky products. Selectable label identifiers can convert one barcode type to another to reduce POS exceptions.
A Smarter Investment
Intelligent Illumination activates only when merchandise enters the zone, using up to 50% less power than other bioptic scanners. Three sizes fit common cash wraps; onboard interfaces and auto-host-detect cables simplify connection.
More than 50% fewer interconnects and PCBs, solid-state construction, spill protection and Sapphire or DLC-coated glass reduce failure points and protect uptime.
Remote Visibility
Remote Diagnostics monitors illumination, sensors, cameras, scales and boards. IoT Connector routes real-time scanner data to a chosen endpoint, while 123Scan and Zebra DNA handle configuration, Advanced Data Formatting and remote management.
