1D checkout scanning with customizable light and sound

The Datalogic Heron HD3130 is a corded linear imager for retail checkout, especially fashion and specialty stores. It reads standard 1D barcodes and supported GS1 stacked codes, with USB, RS-232 and Keyboard Wedge multi-interface connectivity. Black and white designs, illuminated accents and a polyphonic speaker give the counter a distinctive appearance, while its stand supports automatic switching between handheld and hands-free reading.

Reading range varies with symbol size, print quality, contrast, scan angle and ambient light. The five-year factory warranty applies to the scanner; cables have a separate 90-day manufacturer warranty.

Light and sound that fit the counter

Changing-color LEDs and a polyphonic speaker provide customizable visual and audio feedback. Carbon-Fiber and Silver top-cover designs offer different finishes, and manufacturer customization programs can add a logo or other colors subject to minimum quantities.

Green Spot feedback in either reading mode

Datalogic Green Spot gives visible good-read confirmation and serves as an aiming aid in hands-free use. Automatic switching between handheld and stand operation keeps the reader ready for items of different sizes; its lightweight 150 g design and repeated 1.5 m drop resistance support daily checkout work.
