The Datalogic Heron HD3430 combines 1D and 2D barcode reading with image capture for fashion and specialty retail checkout. Its sculpted design, changing-color lights and polyphonic speaker bring customizable visual and audio feedback to the counter, while the AutoSense stand supports automatic switching between handheld and hands-free scanning.

Reading distance varies with symbol size, print quality, contrast, angle and ambient light. The scanner has a five-year factory warranty; cables have a separate 90-day warranty.

2D reading and image capture

Read linear, 2D, postal and stacked codes, and capture images in BMP, JPEG or TIFF format. White illumination, a visible aiming system and Green Spot good-read feedback help the operator target and confirm each scan.

Light and sound for your brand

Multiple color-changing LEDs and a polyphonic speaker support personalized scan feedback. Carbon-Fiber and Silver top-cover designs complement the black and white family; manufacturer logo and other color customization requires minimum quantities.
