Machine-learning and neural-network technologies suppress more noises and more types of noise than traditional approaches. Stereo speakers and dual microphones support clear calls and voice-enabled applications on loud plant floors, in vehicles and outdoors.

An ambient-light sensor adjusts brightness, while an eCompass, 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer support motion-aware applications. Dedicated scan and volume controls plus three programmable keys put common actions one press away.

Attach the friction-hinge keyboard to create a 2-in-1 laptop alternative for data-heavy work. Zebra’s heated-connector vehicle dock supports forklifts, clamp trucks, delivery vehicles and first-responder vehicles. Ports include one USB 3.1 Type-A and two Thunderbolt™ 4/USB4 Type-C; an expansion module adds Ethernet RJ45, serial RS232 and rear host USB.

Choose a 36 Wh standard battery for full-shift use or a 72 Wh extended battery for multi-shift workloads. The field-friendly battery latch and internal Super Capacitor provide at least 60 seconds of power across the operating-temperature range, preserving work during a true hot swap. PowerPrecision+ intelligence helps IT identify and replace unhealthy batteries before they interrupt operations.

Charging

USB Power Delivery 3.0 charges through either USB-C port or the optional dock with a 45 W supply. A standard battery charges in about 2.5 hours and an extended battery in about 5 hours.

Wi-Fi 7 offers nearly five times the speed of Wi-Fi 6 and double the bandwidth for dense deployments. The radio reaches 5.8 Gbps with 2x2 MU-MIMO, 320 MHz channels and 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands. WPA3, enterprise authentication and 802.11r fast roaming support secure mobility.

Bluetooth 5.4 with Bluetooth Low Energy improves the speed, reliability and energy efficiency of peripheral connections. The integrated NFC reader/writer supports common card and tag standards and enables tap-and-go access-control workflows.

The ET65W adds data-only 5G Release 16, LTE and private LTE/5G; these cellular capabilities do not apply to the ET60W. CBRS is available in North America, while FirstNet® certification is US-only. Nano SIM plus eSIM support private and public network connections.

ET65W GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS. Multi-constellation positioning helps routing, dispatch, proof-of-service and incident-command applications retain location context.

Scan barcodes instantly — near and far

The optional SE55 1D/2D Advanced Range scan engine with IntelliFocus captures barcodes from items in hand to high warehouse racks. Gorilla Glass protects the scanner exit window. External HID scanners connect through USB or Bluetooth and support Zebra 123Scan and the Zebra Scanner SDK.

Data Capture

A 13 MP autofocus rear camera with balanced-white LED flash supports inspection and proof-of-service images. The front combines a 5 MP RGB camera, mechanical privacy shutter and infrared camera for Windows Hello facial authentication.

The ET60W and ET65W exceed MIL-STD-810H for 5 ft. drops to concrete and meet it for 6 ft. drops to plywood over concrete. IP66 sealing and a -20°F to 145°F (-29°C to 63°C) operating range support harsh environments. At ambient temperatures above 122°F (50°C), surfaces may be hot; Zebra specifies very-high-temperature operation as non-charging. Testing covers vibration, thermal shock, electrostatic discharge, salt fog, solar radiation and impact.

Hazardous Location Certification

Select configurations carry Class I Division 2 hazardous-location certification. European vehicle deployments can use an E-Mark-certified 12 V configuration with the tablet and keyboard in the docking station, giving buyers a documented path for demanding mobile installations.

Keep your tablets secure every minute of the day

Windows Hello supports the infrared front camera and an optional fingerprint reader in the power button. Discrete TPM 2.0, NIST BIOS compliance, FIPS 140-2 validation and Common Criteria certification protect the platform. Contactless NFC Smart Card support and an optional insertable CAC reader serve controlled-access environments.

The mechanical camera shutter blocks the front camera when it is not needed, and Kensington lock slots secure the tablet alone or with its keyboard attached. Absolute Persistence® technology is embedded in the BIOS for organizations that activate the required software.

Easy to configure

Zebra Control Hub gives users and IT one dashboard for tablet settings. Users can personalize the keyboard backlight and map keys to create application shortcuts. IT can collect logs for troubleshooting, review PowerPrecision+ battery health, identify batteries that need replacement and centrally manage settings across a deployment.

An extraordinary 4-year lifecycle

Zebra plans four years of ET60W/ET65W sales from initial release, reducing mixed-model fleets. Service extends four additional years for up to eight years of support; the hardware warranty covers defects for three years from shipment. Zebra recommends OneCare Essential or Select and Learning Services for long-term deployments.

Markets and Applications

Field service uses include routing, work orders, remote assistance and inspections. Government workflows include in-vehicle CAD, incident command and MRO; warehouse and port teams can cover loading, cross-docking, inventory and picking. Manufacturing applications include plant-floor management, mobile HMI, quality assurance, MRO and safety compliance.
