Seagull BarTender Automation
Connect label printing to the work your business already does
BarTender Automation combines flexible label design with integrations that launch printing from other applications and business events. Reduce repetitive operator steps while keeping label content connected to the data that drives each job.
What you can do
Trigger printing from business systems
Use Integration Builder to connect printing with files, database events, and application requests. Build workflows around the events that already occur in your operation.
Maintain fewer label templates
Use Intelligent Templates and conditional printing to control which templates, layers, or objects print. Create label variations from shared designs instead of managing separate files for every case.
Connect data and validate input
Read information from supported databases, Excel, and CSV files. Data-entry forms guide operators and validate print-time entries when a workflow needs human input.
Design barcodes, RFID, and cards
Build on Professional edition design and encoding tools. Use the same environment for barcode labels, RFID labels, and supported card-printing applications.
Protect required label content
Lock mandatory design content and control the printing workflow. Help operators use the intended templates while preserving the elements that must stay consistent.
Manage and monitor integrations
Use Administration Console to configure integrations and review their operation. Print status and history help teams investigate issues and keep jobs moving.
Where it fits
A strong fit for manufacturing, warehousing, and fulfillment teams that want label printing to follow transactions, incoming files, or application activity.
Choose the right license
Choose an application-and-printer subscription with the printer allowance you need. Additional printer subscriptions expand a matching application license. Renew both application and printer subscriptions as required for the selected term. Perpetual-license Maintenance and Support is separate from renewal; legacy conversions require an eligible existing license.
