Opticon OPN2006

The Opticon OPN2006 companion scanner is a great addition to any mobile POS or light inventory management application. With support for both Bluetooth scanning and batch data collection, the OPN2006 is a great two-in-one product.

An upgrade over the OPN2005, the OPN2006 uses a laser scanner to capture barcode data. An eight inch depth of field for standard retail barcodes ensures quick reads for most applications. With a scan rate of up to 100 scans per second, you can be sure that the OPN2006 will get the right read almost instantly.

The OPN2006 uses a Bluetooth Class III radio to pair with your mobile computer, laptop, or smartphone. Additional compatibility with iPhones, iPads, and Android devices extend functionality, making it easy to take your point of sale on the go. For tasks, such as gift registries or simple inventory counting, the OPN2006's batch mode can store up to 20,000 barcodes and time stamps.

Lightweight and easy to use, the OPN2006 is built to handle mild abuse and overuse. The scanner itself can survive drops of five feet to concrete, so a drop out of pocket won't slow it down. It also is sealed to IP42 specification, so dirt and water splashes won't harm internal components. If you are really worried about damage, a wrist strap comes with the device.
