The Pioneer Dash T3 is a 10.1" Windows Tablet PC is designed for portable and mobile applications in many verticals. The T3's versatile design offers several integrated device options, such as magnetic stripe reader, smart card reader, biometric reader, and 2D barcode imager. It also offers connectivities to additional devices via its WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB ports.
The T3 offers several mounting options: a standard LP base, an advanced UP base with 2 USB ports, and a wall mount kit. With each mounting option, the T3 can be detached from its dock to provide some mobility.
The UP base allows the T3 to be rotated to either a landscape or a portrait view, to meet the application's requirement. It also allows the T3 to be tilted backwards to face the customers. The UP base comes with 2 USB ports to support additional devices such as printer, barcode scanner, or customer display.

Hi this is Travis with POSGuys.com. Today we're taking a look at Pioneer's latest tablet all-in-one computer. This is the Dash T3, this is the third generation of the Dash tablet. The previous Dash tablet was a 7 inch, this is a 10 inch version, and they made some nice upgrades to it that makes it overall a better purchase for point of sale. For this display I have it paired with a couple matching peripherals. We have the Epson TM-m30 receipt printer and the Datalogic Heron barcode scanner, along with just your standard black metal cash drawer, and you can see it looks like a pretty nice all-in-one point of sale station right here, but it does a little more than your normal point-of-sale station, mainly is that it's a tablet, so that you can release it from the base, and take it with you if you need to line bust, or do some inventory, then you also have a tablet. So tablet and all-in-one computer, all in one. This is their advanced base, so it has power built into it, it also has two USB ports. This allows the tablet to go from facing you to facing the customer, so it flips down, so if you're going to be doing imager capture, signature capture, or you need to show them something on the screen, like a warranty form or something like that, then you can flip it to customer facing, and then you can go upright. You can also go portrait so if you want to use your point of sale software in portrait mode, it has that capability in it as well. Standard magnetic stripe reader is built into the side for doing old mag stripe type processing. There is also some additional accessories like customer displays, 1D, 2D barcode scanners that can be built into it as well as different mounting options. A standard base without USB ports, or a wall mounting option. When you take it out of the base, there's an optional hand strap on the back, it fits nicely so you can do one-handed operation. If you're taking orders or something like that then you don't have to worry about dropping the tablet, there's a little strap on this that tightens down. There's one micro USB port on the back if you do need to plug in a USB peripheral, then that port is there. Most point of sale equipment uses full size USB connections, not mini, but it is there if you want to get an adapter and plug something in. Overall price point of the Dash is going to be above 1000 dollars, it's closer to an all-in-one price than like a consumer tablet price, but you are getting a all-in-one tablet kind of in a one bundle. Overall, a pretty cool new computer from Pioneer, worth taking a look if you want a more compact, small, semi-portable point of sale system.
